DEAR SPOOK, back to Mel's collection of pictures. These heather covered hills over on the East, do remind me a wee bit of NZ, but of course, it would be Thyme covered there.
Finn took a turn for the worse at bedtime last night and was very very wheezy. I tried sleeping in his room to offer reassurance, but by 3am when I was still trying to sleep, I bailed out. By the time you phoned me in the morning, I hadn't really slept all that much, so that is why I sounded so out of it. I was supposed to go in to work for a chat today, but between mixed messages and my overall fatigue. it didn't happen. I went back to bed and slept for 2.5hrs. Meg put herself out again this morning!! All day I feel that I could curl up into a ball and sleep. I think it is a sleeping disease. (daytime not night time, of course). So I have a lot of time off this week as I am not going to see mum and Dad and not going to sleepover at my friends, but I don't have much energy to anything with it - very frustrating. Hopefully it will ease off as the week goes on. More and more children are off school with the bug, so fingers crossed that Meg's hand washing routine does the trick. You could see the infrastructure of the town closing down as this is affecting adults and children alike, so if the teachers go off sick, the doctors, the parents........we might as well hibernate. I was going to go to the Parents Council meeting tonight, but didn't think it was a good time to abandon the children. these things can wait until you return. Hope I am not putting you off.
