Having said that we had turned a corner on winter, we then woke to heavy rain. Meg was pleased as she was too tired to go snowboarding and had been hoping for a snuggle-in. That would involve lighting the fire and watching DVD's. The last time we got to do that during the day was when it rained in December.! It was pretty bleak and the snow advanced down the mountain. However, the sun came out around mid-day and the snuggle-in got cancelled. So had the snowboarding by then, so she went to the cinema with Michaela (parents are away in Sydney, so contact is resumed between kids). Finn went down to Sams to watch the rugby, but they got bored with that and went to town for a pie.
The pictures seem to suggest that Finn is embracing the culture a little too much. Just waiting for the wee shorts now - stubbies.
Spook took the picture of sunset over the poo-works as he left work tonight. A particularly poignant one.
grateful for:
the time we have had together and how much we have enjoyed each other.
