All Quiet on the Southern Hemisphere

A very grey day in Helensburgh today, but a lovely clear sky and strong, low sunshine appeared late afternoon. This made the task of collecting the dung that had fallen from the farm muck spreader, in big blobs on our road, a lot less unpleasant. I stopped Dougie from the farm and asked him to drive more carefully so that my Mum didn't get all fired up about her rose's. Tomorrow I will recieve instruction on where it is to be spread. (on a new rose). I planted more wee jewels in the garden, but got into trouble from the man who lives in the house (Dad) because I went in for a cup of tea and forgot to sweep up the spare earth. I'm thinking that learning to water ski and sky dive might not be so bad after all!!! It seems to have gone quiet over there now that they are all back to work and school. 'Bout time too.
Truly, I will miss my wee tasks around the place. And I've always liked that fine, country smell.
