13 years Married

This picture is from Snow Farm, looking over to Wanaka. You can see the wee dark bump of Mt Iron and Lake Hawea in the distance.
We celebrated our Wedding Anniversary today with Muffins at The Sewage Works. Then I went to the apres wedding at the Cattle Flat Station. It was all well-heeled farmers and a few real diamonds around the place. It was a pleasant afternoon, and not very hard work, but much appreciated by the family and they will now make a generous donation to the RDA. There were only 3 of us and 2 children, and only 2 of us by the end of the day, so I was glad I had gone along. I also brought home some lovely marinated venison for my husbands anniversary dinner. We made poor wee Finn sit through Shakespeare In Love (it was all we had), and Meg went to a party at a friends house where she is staying over.
It's dark by 8pm now and not light until 7.45am. The clocks change tonight. I wonder if winter will come.
