Finn hasn't got around to putting arms, ears, tail or muzzle on his monkey, but Sweet Niblets has already claimed it as her own. It's taken the heat off my monkeys which she loves to toss about the place. She has dispensed with the phantom pregnancy. It gave the children excitement for a while, but I am pleased not to have to worry about where the birth is going to be and how messy.....for now. It's about $300 to get her spayed, so she will remain a target for the rogues of the street. It gave her plenty extra food and attention, so she's had her fun.
Spook had to go to work again and also tomorrow, so although he's not there for too long (couple of hours at a time), he's been on the phone plenty and doesn't feel like it's been much of a spell off. Divine intervention for not being there for 10undertheben? And the poo tank is to be cleaned out again. I'll be cleaning a new build I think, which is always going to be better than skiers toilets. (or poo tanks).
It was a beautiful day and evening again. Not a breath of wind. Finn went to the gym with his rugby troupe and did 'spinning' on the bikes, with a lycra and headset clad dame putting the boys through their paces. Keep them keen on the training!
Meg and I went for a 45min jog/speed walk. She has maintianed a reasonable fitness, but it would take a bit to get the running constant. However, her speed walking out strides me, and she didn't falter with that.
grateful for:
the wood burning stove and the growing excitement I feel at the prospect of jumping into my electric blanket warmed bed.
